BELGRAVE HALL
DUBLIN
Next
Belgrave Hall was designed by the famous architect John Bourke and was built in 1840 by the Right Honourable William Lygon who was Earl of Longford. The Hall was built at a cost of £1,400 and was restored by the present owner between 1992 and 1996 for a considerably larger sum. First occupied as a summer residence by the Bishop of Meath it is now home to the owner, his family and Aoife the Irish Wolfhound and has been run as a holiday hostel since 1997. The Hall was used as a location for the internationally awarded feature film Ailsa.
